Assessment Test:
All prospective learners are required to take and pass a pre-admission Entry Assess
Test. Admission to Word of Life Christian School is dependent on the results of this
assessment test.
Prospective learners who want to transfer to Word of Life Christian School from ano
school are required to also submit a Confidential Report, including examination resu
from their current school.
Parents of successful candidates will be invited to an interview with the Principal and
Administrator.
Parents of unsuccessful applications will be informed by letter or email.
Parents can apply for assessment of prospective learners as from the dates indicate
below of the year preceding admission to the school.

Primary School
• Grade 1 to 3
Consists of a One-on-One assessment with the specific grade teacher.
Tests are administered at 13h30 for approximately 1 hour.
Admission to Grade 1 preference will be given to our current Grade R’s.
Assessment will commence from 01 Aug 2020.
Appointment to be made via the School Office.
• Grade 4 to 7
Assessment in English and Afrikaans (comprehension and writing skills are tested) a
Mathematics. Administered at 08h00 for approximately 2 hours.
Assessment will commence from 01 Aug 2020.
Appointment to be made via the School Office.
High School
• Grade 8 – 10
We accept learners from any Primary School subject to the successful completion of
assessment test and the submission of the learner’s Gr 7 examination results.
Assessment in English and Afrikaans (comprehension, writing and oral skills are test
and Mathematics. Administered at 08h00 for approximately 2 hours.
Assessment will commence from 01 Aug 2020.
