ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP
Innervation have created a Learnership program for an SOA Engineer / Developer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Candidates interested in applying for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria – failure to meet ALL of these requirements will result in your application being denied.
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Completed a tertiary qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Good communication skills
- Work well in a team
- Extremely reliable
- Able to take initiative
- Must be self-motivated
- Have a strong sense of ownership
- Have a good level of systems and technical knowledge
- Have hands on experience
- Knowledge/ experience of the following:
- SOA principles
- SOAP and REST protocols
- XML and XSLT
- JBOSS / Tomcat
- JSON
- ESB – ServiceMix, Fuse or Talend
- MS Windows, Linux
- Java Persistence API (JPA)
- Spring Framework
- CDI and JSF
- UML and documentation
- Database – MSSQLServer / MySQL
- Apache Camel, ActiveMQ and OSGI(Karaf)
- EFT processing / Payment Gateways
- Value Added Services / high volume transaction processing
- Web services approach including Web service
DUTIES
The following duties must be fulfilled by the SOA Engineer/Developer Learnership:
- Design and develop new products and systems
- Design and develop new back-end services for new products
- Maintain and increase existing products and systems
- Work closely with Architect or Business Analyst to define project requirements
- Analyse business requirements and convert to System or functional requirements
- Do technical integration with clients and third-parties
- Document technical solutions
- Develop EFT integrations services
