The Municipality are offering Skills and Development Programmes to their youth, in order to uplift the community and make a positive impact on the scarce skills shortage in South Africa.

Successful candidates must sign a 12 month contract and will receive a monthly stipend for their work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Candidates interested in applying for this learnership position should ensure that they meet the following criteria – failure to meet ALL of these requirements will result in your application being denied.
- South African citizen
- Between 18 and 35 years old
- Reside in the City of Ekurhuleni
- Completed Matric OR equivalent
- Passed Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy in Matric
- Completed OR currently registered in one of the following programmes:
- Event Safety Management
- Disaster Management
- Geographic Information System
- Meteorological Studies
- Good command of the English language (able to read, write and speak English)
- Computer literate
- Clear criminal record
- Not currently employed
- Have a driver’s license (beneficial but not essential)
