ADMISSION OF LEARNERS TO THE SCHOOL TAKES PLACES IN STAGES

STAGE ONE

1. Come to school and collect a Provisional Application form.

2. Copy of Proof of residence must accompany this provisional application form together with the child’s :

Ø Identity document

3. After you have handed this to the School you will be notified of the outcome of your application.

4. You will be given a Registration Number at this point.

STAGE TWO

Parents living in the AREA [Effingham, Avoca, Red Hill, Greenwood Park, Briardene,, Duffs Road, Avoca Hills, Corovoca, Durban North, Kenville, Sea Cow Lake – in this order will be given first preference.

IF YOUR APPLICATION IS SUCCESSFUL : A REGISTRATION FORM WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU WITH A REGISTRATION NUMBER.

1. Complete the registration form

2. Attach the following documents to the Registration Form:

Ø Child’s ID / Birth Certificate / Immigration Documents / Clinic Card / immunisation card

Ø Child’s latest school report [March 2017]

Ø Proof of Residence

Ø ID of both parents / Death Certificates

Ø ID of the person responsible for payment of school fees

Ø Social Grant documents if applicable

Ø One ID size photograph of the child

Ø 2x new plastic sleeves

Ø Proof of Payment of R2000 SCHOOL FEES DEPOSIT.

3. Parents & Child must present themselves with the registration form for a formal interview with the Principal or his designate.

4. The Registration will be completed during the interview.

STAGE THREE

1. The Child will write a test in English and Mathematics [this is to help with placement in classes and teachers to gather information of where to start Grade 8]

2. There will be an ORIENTATION MEETING for both parents and the Child – attendance at the orientation meeting is mandatory.
