ADMISSION PROCESSING POLICY
PREREQUISITES BEFORE AN APPLICATION IS LOOKED AT:
An application will only be processed once:
the ‘APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO BEACONHURST SCHOOL’ forms has been completed in full.
Thereafter all the documentation requested in the application form must be attached.
Applications will NOT be processed by the Admission Committee unless the natural parent /legal guardian or the
person who formally in writing undertakes to fulfil the obligations of a parent to Beaconhurst School:
accepts and signs the ‘UNDERTAKING BY PARENTS/GUARDIANS/ SPONSORS’ on pages 3 and 4 of the
‘APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO BEACONHURST SCHOOL’ form.
completes and signs the ‘CHECKLIST FORM’ regarding the exemption of parents from the payment of school
fees on page 5 of the ‘APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO BEACONHURST SCHOOL’
The person who formally undertakes in writing to fulfil the obligations of a parent when enrolling somebody else’s child at Beaconhurst School must submit the learner’s unabridged birth certificate, parents ID documents/passports/death certificates, etc. and all other relevant documentation requested by the school.
The Admission Committee is appointed by the School Governing Body. The Admission Committee processes the
application forms and makes recommendations to the Principal of the School.
